Graduation Day

Tomorrow my third born graduates from high school, three more years until my youngest daughter graduates from high school.

Mellisa took medical classes in high school and earned her CNA. She hopes to further her education to obtain her PhD in psychiatry. She loves to learn about the anatomy and functions of the brain and mind almost as much as she loves being on stage. Mellisa is active and very competitive in beauty pageants. In October 2010 she was Miss Magna Teen USA and competed in Miss Utah Teen USA. In January 2011 she was crowned Salt Lake Royal Miss American Starlet. On July 2nd she will compete in the 2011 Miss Magna Scholarship Pageant (in association with the Miss America Organization). When done with the fun and excitement of pageantry she hopes to get married and settle down with her Junior High/High school sweetheart Jordan Kinder who is also graduating tomorrow, we're very proud of him as well. Jordan is a very hard worker and has a strong desire to join the United States Marine Corps where he will receive training as a field mechanic. I wish them all the luck in the world and my prayers are with them.

I'm proud of all of my children, I am so blessed that my children are good kids and didn't do bad things to cause any kind of trouble. I'm very very lucky, my kids will make a difference in this world.

Congrats to Mellisa Opal Muñoz!!

William was my first to graduate. He graduated from Granger High in 1995. In 2006 he graduated from the University of Phoenix with his B.S. Bachelors of Science and Business Management. He is currently in the United States Air Force, has a beautiful family. He and his wife Debbie have four amazing girls, Alyssa, Jocelyn, Kennedy, and Addison. I am very proud of him and his many accomplishments.

Gabrielle graduated from Cyprus High last year. She is currently attending The Art Institute of Salt Lake to obtain her Associates of Applied Science degree in baking and pastry. Before starting her first quarter of college she competed in the Best Teen Chef competition and ended up winning the bronze medal and a $1,000 scholarship to The Art Institute. While attending school she works part time at Kiwi Bakery where she has the opportunity to help out with a lot of hands on baking. She hopes one day to open her own bakery/restaurant. I am so proud of her and wish her the best of luck on her journey to become a famous baker.

Last but not least is Rachelle, she will graduate from Cyprus High in 2014. Rachelle is my best helper and is always willing to help others, she has a heart of gold. She is interested in Photography and I think she has a natural eye for capturing great photos. She hopes one day to also work as a dental assistant. Rachelle is currently the mother of 3 guinea pigs, a rat, a turtle, and 3 goldfish. Whether she decides to become a professional photographer, a dental assistant, or even both, I am very proud of her. She is hardworking and I know no matter what she decides to do she will be very good at it.
